Windows Are Leaking 
Are your windows leaking when it rains? If you see moisture around your windows when it rains, the window seal may not be doing its job. There may also be cracks in the window or the seal. Also, inspect your window frame for water damage, such as warped wood.
Condensation Between Panes
Another issue is when condensation builds up on your window between the two panes, even if it is not leaking into your home. This means that the outer pane is not sealed properly, and your double-pane window only has the protection of one pane.
Drafts
If you feel drafts coming into your home even when the windows are closed, the windows probably aren’t sealed properly. This will lead to a cooler home in the winter, as well as a warmer home during the summer due to cool air escaping. It will force your HVAC system to work harder, thus increasing your energy bills.
Windows Are Outdated
If your windows are old, you may need to replace them. Depending on how old they are, they may be made or painted with materials that are no longer accepted, such as lead.

It’s not just how your windows appear from the inside. Windows make up a large portion of your home’s exterior and greatly affect your home’s curb appeal.
